
ARCHITECTURE HISTORY & THEORY
Architecture history and theory is a module that introduces chronological survey of the developments of Ancient architecture to Western architecture from the beginning of time to the period of Enlightenment, with consideration of the intellectual, aesthetic, technological, political and economic factors which have influenced the design of buildings. These issues are explored with reference to major contemporary examples and the work and philosophy of significant exponents.
Project 1: Group Analysis Report

Conduct research and architectural analysis on two selected building from a chosen era and create a digital booklet and an Augmented Reality A1 poster using the BLIPPAR application documenting the heritage buildings.







Project 2: Sketching Analysis
Conduct research and architectural analysis on 5 Malaysian historical architectural building and create an A4 Sketches booklet documenting the heritage buildings.
